A recognised large multi-national logistics group now seeks to hire an experienced Air Ocean Freight Forwarder for their North Dublin office. As an Air Ocean Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely importation and Export of goods via air & ocean freight. Your duties will involve coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
You ideally need to have 2+ years within Air and Ocean Freight. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with international partners.
Core Responsibilities;
- Coordinate and manage shipments via ocean/air freight from origin to destination and destination to origin.
- Arrange bookings with ocean carriers and negotiate air freight rates when necessary.
- Verify accuracy of shipping documents and ensure compliance with import and export regulations and trade laws.
- Work closely with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and warehousing to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and documentation.
Key Requirements;
- 2+ years within Air and Ocean Freight
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import / export documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

Full-time, permanent, office-based, Mon-Fri (09:00 - 17:30 Hrs)
