A long-established and respected Freight Forwarder based in North Dublin is now seeking to hire an Air and/or Ocean Freight Clerk. Your key responsibilities will include;
- Accepting & processing export air and/or ocean bookings in Cargowise.
- Generating AWB’s, B/L and customs documents
- Issuing quotations.
- Processing import Customs Clearance
- Efficient resolution of operational problems/invoice queries.
- Maintaining data within the Freight Forwarding system
- Invoicing, filing and general administrative duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Import Air Ocean forwarding
- Ability to customs-clear shipments
- Excellent problem-solving, planning & organising skills.
- Excellent communication/telephone skills.
- Strong Customer Service & Administrative skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Fluent English and the ability to work full-time without restriction
Please Note:
A five-year background check is required for Aviation Security Clearance. This includes all periods of employment and education regardless of duration or nature. A complete set of references covering exact dates spanning the last 5 years must be achieved. Gaps exceeding 28 days are not permitted and must be evidenced.
Terms:
Full-time permanent, 09:00 - 17.30 Hrs Mon –Fri with the flexibility required as per industry norm, office-based role (no hybrid or remote working is available).
Package:
€40-45,000 + Bonus
