Leading international logistics company based in North County Dublin now seek an experienced Customs Clearance Agent. The client is proud of the professional, friendly environment their staff have created with many employees with the company for over five years.
Key Duties and Responsibilities::
- Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operational system
- Track and Trace Custom files and reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely client billing
- Understand all the elements of the import and export customs operating procedure so customers expectations are achieved.
- Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system
- Assist with verification of customs declaration information and the submission of such to the customs authority
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
Minimum Requirements:
- Good knowledge of customs brokerage process, customs legislation - especially with regards to classification, valuation and origin
- Understanding of ocean, road and air documentation process
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
- Fluent in English with an ability to work full-time, permanently, onsite and unrestricted by any time-based visa limitations.
