A recognised Shipping Line now requires an Export Liner Agent for their busy office in North Dublin. This role is ideal for an existing liner agent or a candidate working in a Deep Sea Freight Forwarder looking to move into the Shipping Line side of the business.

The export team have five agents who are on hand to ensure you quickly get up to speed and comfortable with your duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creating booking as per the details submitted by the shippers.
  • Coordinating with the depot for the empty releases and with the terminal to ensure the container is on board as per the loading list.
  • Updating of the Bill of Lading data, sending drafts to customers and releasing the final Bill of Lading.
  • Sending the freight invoices and export documents to the customers.
  • Maintaining the track of the container by checking with the relevant transhipment ports and updating the customers.

Requirements;

  • Min one year of Operations experience in a Deep Sea Liner or Ocean Freight Forwarder in Ireland.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Working knowledge of Export Documentation and Customs Procedures 
  • Good problem solver
  • Good working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc)
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and verbal English
  • Ability to work unrestricted for an indefinite period (Stamp 1G Graduate Visa holders will not be considered)

Terms:
Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid (2 days working from home available after 6 months) with working hours of 9am to 5pm.

Package:
€35-38k, 22 Days Holidays, Contributory Pension & Hybrid Working (after 6 months)
