Our client, a reputable ocean freight forwarder based in North Dublin, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join their expanding team. This role will focus on generating new business within Ireland, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. A background in freight or logistics is advantageous but not essential. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated B2B sales professional to leverage their skills in a fast-paced and rewarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Qualify Prospects:Research and develop a pipeline of potential clients across Ireland, utilizing business acumen to qualify leads effectively.
- Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings and present tailored logistics and freight solutions to clients. Understand client needs and demonstrate value propositions that align with their business goals.
- Sales Growth:Confidently present and promote the company’s services, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- Account Handover and Documentation: Manage the transition of new clients to the operations team with attention to detail, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Prepare all necessary documentation, including credit applications and new client forms, and liaise with the operations team for seamless account setup.
- Reporting and Feedback: Regularly report on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and improve service offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven B2B Sales Experience: A strong track record in business-to-business sales within Ireland, with a knack for developing new business and maintaining client relationships.
- Full Clean Driver’s Licence: Required as travel throughout Ireland is a core component of the role; a company car will be provided.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Business Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and qualify prospective business opportunities.
- Presentation and Negotiation Skills: Confident in presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
- Attention to Detail: Good administrative skills to manage the handover of new clients to the operations team accurately and efficiently.
- Compliance Mindset: Responsible for completing all client forms, credit applications, and other relevant onboarding documentation in line with company standards.
