A leading Freight Forwarder is seeking a motivated Junior Operations & Customer Support Clerk to join its dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to build your career in freight and logistics with hands-on exposure to international operations and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import/export shipments across Europe, ensuring timely collections and deliveries.
- Liaise with international partners, hauliers, and warehouse teams to maintain service levels and resolve issues.
- Manage bookings from start to finish using ERP systems (e.g. Azyra), ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Handle customer communications via phone, email, and online platforms—providing status updates and support.
- Support pricing and quotation activities, KPI tracking, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure customs and documentation compliance while working to optimise operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear and professional communication internally and externally.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills and fluent English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Highly organised with a structured, detail-focused approach.
- Self-starter with the ability to make sound decisions and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in logistics, technology, and commercial operations.
- A second European language is a plus.
