As Logistics & Quality Control Coordinator you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of their incoming goods. Your duties will include conducting meticulous quality checks, efficiently repackaging items for export, and ensuring seamless coordination within their supply chain. If you excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment and possess a sharp eye for detail, this could be the role for you!
Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of the logistics function, maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Perform thorough inspections to ensure that goods meet defined criteria and fall within manufacturer tolerances.
  • Skillfully unpack and repack goods for export, ensuring proper handling.
  • Complete shipping and customs paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain up-to-date working files and records with precision.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Adhere to warehouse processes and procedures, demonstrating best practices.
  • Coordinate with external logistics suppliers, including third-party delivery companies and air freighters.
  • Arrange transportation for goods, ensuring on-time delivery as per schedule.
  • Maintain effective communication with the UK-based Project team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection within a busy warehouse facility is preferred but a relevant 3rd level graduate in logistics or a related discipline will be considered.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities are crucial in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for quality and precision is a must.
  • Ability to remain calm under tight deadlines is essential.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying at least 20 kilograms.
  • Strong command of English (both verbal and written) is necessary as is the ability to work full-time, unrestricted by permit constraints.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • A full clean driving license and a current passport for potential travel are prerequisites.
  • Willingness to adapt to varying working hours and occasional travel, occasionally at short notice.
