We are a long-established Supply Chain and Logistics recruitment agency who have been successfully serving the needs of the Irish supply chain sector for 20 years.
We are now seeking a talented and results-driven Business Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. You need to be a tech-savvy individual with a proven track record of generating new business within the B2B environment, of particular interest are individuals with Irish manufacturing and logistics market experience. This role will be office-based and will involve working four mornings or afternoons a week, totalling approx 16 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and target new business opportunities within the manufacturing and logistics sectors in Ireland.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, and use this information to develop tailored business development strategies.
- Utilise online video messaging to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
- Identify client needs and pain points and articulate how our recruitment solutions can address them effectively.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
- Collaborate closely with the delivery team to ensure a seamless transition from business development to candidate placement.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record of success in B2B business development, preferably within the recruitment industry.
- An in-depth knowledge of the Irish manufacturing and logistics market would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
- Strong technical ability to utilise online CRM, Video Messaging and AI tools to enhance your communication and delivery.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on delivering value and building long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
