Role: Rigid Truck Driver
Location: Dublin
Terms: Permanent, Full-time, Mon – Friday
Package: €38,000 (DOE)
Are you an experienced rigid driver looking to work with a well-established freight forwarding company? A leading logistics provider is currently seeking a full-time rigid truck driver for their Dublin facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier customer service
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport cargo between company facilities and client locations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle safety checks
- Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and industry standards
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary
- Carry out additional warehouse duties as assigned by the warehouse manager
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients and service providers
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and logs
Requirements:
- Full Category C driving licence
- Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Card (all CPC modules up to date)
- ADR Licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ rigid driving experience
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices
- Good time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Desirable (but not essential):
- Air Cargo Security Training
