Role: Senior Operations Manager
Location: Dublin 11
Terms: Permanent, Full-time, Mon – Friday  
Package: Negotiable salary (DOE), Pension.

As the Senior Operations Manager, you will oversee the entire operations function of the business, ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of our large-scale warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of a large-scale warehouse, ensuring seamless pick-pack operations.
  • Optimize workflows and layouts to maximize efficiency and accuracy in order processing.
  • Implement and oversee best practices for inventory handling and movement
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and optimal stock availability to meet business demands.
  • Utilize and oversee the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for efficient inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain precise records.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance management..
  • Prepare, monitor, and control the operations budget, ensuring adherence to cost targets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or service.
  • Generate reports and provide insights into operational performance, costs, and opportunities.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce lead times across operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with broader business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. (Master’s degree preferred.)
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse operations, particularly pick-pack and logistics environments.
  • Strong track record of stock management and WMS system usage (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar systems).
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize operations and resolve challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to warehouse and logistics operations.
