We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Specialist to manage our client's comprehensive supply chain operations. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in supply chain management, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven history of enhancing efficiency and performance within supply chain processes.

You must have your own vehicle to travel to the production/warehouse facility located outside the city.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and issue Purchase and Sales Orders.
  • Formulate and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison among customers, suppliers, and hauliers to ensure timely order collection and delivery.
  • Prepare and dispatch delivery documentation to customers and shipping agents, coordinating with VET for necessary inspections.
  • Maintain comprehensive Customs records.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance customer demand with minimal holding costs.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of products to customers.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance.
  • Advocate for sustainable supply chain practices and corporate social responsibility efforts.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain management principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Proven track record in managing and optimizing complex supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of Customs procedures is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Terms:
Permanent, Full-time, Mon – Friday. 

Package:   
Negotiable salary (DOE)
