We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Specialist to manage our client's comprehensive supply chain operations. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in supply chain management, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven history of enhancing efficiency and performance within supply chain processes.
You must have your own vehicle to travel to the production/warehouse facility located outside the city.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and issue Purchase and Sales Orders.
- Formulate and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison among customers, suppliers, and hauliers to ensure timely order collection and delivery.
- Prepare and dispatch delivery documentation to customers and shipping agents, coordinating with VET for necessary inspections.
- Maintain comprehensive Customs records.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance customer demand with minimal holding costs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Supervise logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance.
- Advocate for sustainable supply chain practices and corporate social responsibility efforts.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
- Deep understanding of supply chain management principles, practices, and technologies.
- Proven track record in managing and optimizing complex supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of Customs procedures is advantageous.
- Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and leadership.
- Proficiency with supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Terms:
Permanent, Full-time, Mon – Friday.
