Role Requirements & Responsibilities;
- Implementing changes in corporate strategy to make the work environment and practices more eco-friendly
- Monitoring the corporation’s sustainability performance
- Analysing and auditing corporate activities (i.e. the process of waste elimination)
- Monitoring and evaluating the company’s production, manufacturing, shipping and receiving processes as they relate to sustainability and compliance with regulations
- Writing reports that detail the results and evaluations of research; presenting that information to management with recommendations for research-based modifications
- Setting guidelines that govern the interplay between the company and the surrounding environment
- Ensuring the company’s compliance with all state and government environmental legislation
- Collaborating with various departments to incorporate sustainability practices and set environmental conservation goals
- Leading training sessions and workshops on sustainability practices and policies for company employees
- To create a sustainability initiative that will measure companies' climate impact and develop mitigating practices with an ambition to be carbon neutral by 2030
- To enhance companies' environmental management policies and practices to support certification to ISO14001 standard.
- To develop pathways for clients’ waste, ranging from packaging to electronic, that are environmentally sustainable
- To support companies' medium-term ambition to offer decommissioning services of data centre equipment (e- waste) to current and new clients across Europe.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands.
- Capable of working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Proven ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities.
- The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate:
- A Degree in environmental science, statistics, or sustainability science.
- An MBA in disciplines such as sustainability, compliance, environmental policy, or economics is highly desirable
- Further education or training in sustainability management,
- Relevant professional training in the following areas: Waste disposal, reducing CO2 Emissions, environmental treatment and matters, sustainable transport
- Good communication skills are essential for this role

The remunerating package, including salary and benefits, is negotiable depending on experience. The package may include:

Salary:
€65,000 - €70,000 (DOE)
