Our Client is currently searching for a Transport & Distribution Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating the delivery and collection of goods throughout Ireland, utilizing the company's own transport fleet and approved subcontractors. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for ensuring all administrative requirements are completed accurately, contributing to the achievement of departmental, product, and company-wide goals.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Coordinate delivery and collection of goods using the company’s transport fleet and subcontractors.
- Serve as the main contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Plan routes, allocate resources, and track deliveries.
- Operate logistics IT systems and maintain accurate transport records.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company standards.
- Generate and process invoices, purchase orders, and costs.
- Provide cover for colleagues during absences and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Leaving Certificate (essential)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record (essential)
- Transport Management CPC (desirable)
- Dangerous Goods Training(desirable)
- Working knowledge of Azyra and GDPR (desirable)
